Not done this for a while. So here is a walk round the old homestead today.

Eric I always love a wander around your garden, so, so impressive as always, you must be very proud.
Do you ever prune your magnolia Susan? Mines getting rather large now and hubby suggested it needed pruning yesterday *shock~horror* Does he know what he is saying? This is a man thats only allowed to cut the lawn....lol
Well he can buggar off, but as I saw yours just thought I would gather from your expertise :-*
Your garden is beautiful Eric. Do you do it all yourself or do you have a helper?
Absolutely beautiful Eric. You and your lady work very hard to achieve perfection. No wonder your back plays up now n then.
:) :)
Just me and my wife do the garden. As I have said before, one of the few advantages of being unemployable is the time one can spend in the garden.
The Magnolia is still a baby, so not needing any pruning at all. I would have to look up about pruning them. So far none of ours have got big enough to outgrow their space. We have only been here 14 years and only planted Magnolias over the last 5 years or so.
102 pics! will have to come back later or I'll never get into my own garden today!
Stunning, Eric!
Eric as always such a delight to wander through your beautiful garden. Waiting for my hairdresser so have spent time looking. Going back to have another wander.
As I said on a previous post your greenhouse and the set up is something to dream of. Thank you.
Thanks Eric, mines about 15 years old and a great specimen, all of the little birds love it too, must be great for grubs and is particularly favoured by the tits and the finches so think I will leave it be, even if only for their sakes :)
Lovely Eric and two questions if I may, one to you and one to everyone else.
Q1. What is that beautiful white flower in picture 40 please?
Q1. Did anyone else spot a couple of weeds in picture 97? ;)
G x
Smilacina and I ALWAYS can spot the weeds!
Had another look and there is not a white flower in No. 40. The one in 41 is actually a pale cream lesser celandine and the last thing you would want in most gardens.
This is the one I meant. G x

Thought you were never going to post another walk, Eric.
Wouldn't be the same without them.
ERIC, as usual very very nice , i feel like i have had a day out. ;D Thank you
Lovely, wish ours was up to the same standard.
