Went to the plot this evening and a bird had managed to get into one of the plotholders fruit cage.It could not get out and kept flying into the net.Managed to rescue it.Poor thing was in a state.
How he got in I do not know. :)
I have to walk round most of our site to get to my plot and I regularly have to let birds out from cages or under nets. Usually wood pigeons. Smart enough to get in but too stupid to get out!
We found a dead catbird in our blueberry cage once :'( He got through the tiniest of holes!
I've decided to only use netting if I can make it completely taut.
