Very nice Tim :)
Nothing like a bright spot of color!
Very pretty Tim, can you tell me what the second pic is please. I love that one :D
I think it might be clematis pixie.
Janet.
Tim in the last pic, is that poached egg plant? I've just germinated some and I'm curious to see what they look like in a border.
They are primroses Posie. I have poached egg plants all over the garden as they seed themselves like crazy and there are no flowers yet. I think it is still a tad early.
it is indeed a pretty corner ;D
Thanks EJ, couldn't see from the pic and they're decidedly more tidy than my primroses who all look like they've been in a scrap at closing time!
Star - same as in the first one.
Thanks, Janet - we didn't know! It was a present last year.
apart from the flowers of course i really like the wrought iron backdrop it helps me picture what the wider image is like :)
You mean like this??
Same corner before the Clematis.
beautiful, just what I imagined :)
But aged!! Like the rest of us.
age is everything ;D our house is about 120 years old and we have an alder tree in the garden that the stone wall was built around to accomodate it, making it probably 150
I love the idea of history in a house and the lives of those that went before as well of those in residence :)
