Post by: Maidenheadtaff on May 01, 2008, 21:53:45
Probably an obvious one but i have a cucumber plant on my windowsill and it looks very healthy but has pale cirles on the leaves.Am i watering too much ?

Does it damage plants at all having them on the windowsill too long. One of the old boys in work said they grow tall and don't bulk out

Do you water it over the leaves?

Whats in my mind if you do, is; these rings can be formed by sunlight shining (magnifying) through the droplets of water left on the leaves, the water evaporates and leaves the rings.

Does that sound about right?

Mine have that where I have put them in the garden and the rain watered them for me.
