Title: Wedding Preparations
Post by: Mimi on July 23, 2004, 19:34:15
As some of you know my eldest daughter is getting married in just a few days.  We didnt get a lot of notice and were unable to get a venue for the reception, so we decided to hire a marquee and get caterers and have the reception in the garden at home.  We have worked hard for the last few weeks getting it all spick and span.  I thought that you might like to see how all our work has ended up.

If you look closely on the right you can just see my two dogs Missy is the black and tan daschund and Poppy is the red.(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v175/mimi4555/baskets04004.jpg)

Lovely. Now me I would put the Marquee right over the pond and see what happened, but then I am like that. We all have been praying for Sun for the big day.

Looks lovely Mimi - great setting for a wedding.  Do the dogs worry about the pond - my two would be in it all the time ::)

They love the pond Pat that much they even use it as a drinking bowl... Poppy the pup thought that she could walk on the ice when the pond froze over in the winter... we knew nothing about it until we had a wet dog at the door and a puppy shaped hole in the ice on the pond :D
