Heehee Plot69, thats because they're courgettes, recycled compost from the chillies ;)

Good idea Tim, I do that all the time. Tight as a tick me :D

Mine took six weeks to come through. Now they are growing like mad.

Must show it is warming up - at last.

i dunno, i can see 2 chilli type seedlings from where I am standing... That happened to me too! in a seed tray! still the two extra peppers that came up were given a new home quick smart and are doing very well!!

sometimes I use all sorts of things as module trays, like biscuit packaging, with small spaces in it. Those fancy biscuit tins are great, they have a plastic tray for each layer of small dainty biscuit, just the right size!!

No, I think you missed the point Star. The photo shows a tray full of perfectly geminated chili's. Chili's that Tim didn't think were going to germinate at all, so he sowed courgettes in the same compost and now all the chili's have geminated.

What a brilliant idea Tim - you should be able to see which is which and you have saved all that space! You should have done that before!!

Good luck with separating them!!

Yes well I got locked in my allotment site once when I didn't have my glasses on. Couldn't see the numbers on the combination lock. Had to go and find a young person to undo it for me  :'(
