Nope, not at all. At least I hope not.

I've got some that are about 5 inches tall, some about 1 and a load that have only been sown a few days and I plan to plant a few more this week too.... :)

not at all, I sowed some a few days ago and they are coming through lovely.  Last year I planted my toms in may and had fruit off them

Must admit, I cheated this year as I popped in to the 99p store a few days ago in Kingston and they had tom plants two for 99p... so cheated and purchased mine...  :D

In case you do not know, those side shoots we carefully remove from tomato plants will, if potted up grow into new tomato plants.
