A mouse with a large gap between it's teeth. ;D
If it is just above ground - birds maybe?
Oh slugs have been dining out for sure :o
I agree with Lauren S, slugs enjoy a nice peppery radish, or at least they did an entire row of mine last year!
slugs I reckon
Birds peck
Mice and rats leave definate teeth marks
and slugs leave neatly edged bowl shaped holes.
slugs, I've been earthing mine up, not as much damage now :)
mind you, the warm weather's not started yet,
thanks all was slugs found a little bugger having Breakfast this morning
My greenhouse tub grown radishes don't get as big as yours, and I don't have slug trouble. I have wife problems... She keeps picking them and eating them and we never have enough ready at one time for a proper bunch.
They certainly look nice radishes, mine at the lottie are nowhere near that size yet.
Slugs - try putting coffee grounds around them!
They still look good though!
My early recollection of "proper tea" 55 years ago was radishes with a dip of salt and brown bread and butter. Delicious!
Old Bird
I have found the top part of my shallot set has been eaten in the same way today. So was pleased to see this thread. Trying slug stoppa, hope it works :)
