Title: Dead aubergines :0(
Post by: Common_Clay on April 21, 2008, 11:53:53
I put them out for some light yesterday and forgot about them and left them overnight, this morning they're dead.  :'(
Is it too late to sow some more now?

That is so annoying!  We've all done similar, though.

I think you'll be fine to sow some more now.  We'll be sowing the last few of ours next weekend.

Well mine are still in the packet so I hope there's still time to sow!! off to do it right now. BTW can they go outside a bit once it warms up? I've never grown them before.

Well the seeds are in so we'll see what they do. Violetta da Firenza - another present. I wish folk wouldn't give me seeds that I haven't a clue about..

???No, I didn't really mean that! Keep 'em coming! ;) ;) ;)

Better under cover if you can, failing that make a suntrap for them outdoors to keep any chilling wind off.

Those windbreaks that are used on the beach would do, providing they don't shade the plants. I suppose you could substitute PVC for the material
