Title: Logie the Osprey
Post by: isbister on April 18, 2008, 14:40:12
Anybody else tracking Logie the Osprey fitted with GPS - it's very exciting. She left her winter quarters in Africa March 12th and now in Lake Windermere, she's heading for Scotland where her mate has already arrived - she's late. Last Sunday (13th) she arrived at Queen Mary reservoir Staines and then went to Laleham which is about 2 miles from me - she must have practically flown over our house!!! Didn't see her though.
Daily updates on her migration here:

or if link won't work go to BBC website and search "World on the Move"
