Wondered what you make to fill yourselves when sometime you need to sit back and say 'I'm stuffed, that was good'.
I ahve one that the family always eat every scrap of no matter how much there is! I only ever cook healthy eating food so this is good for you too!
Sweet chilli turkey wraps.
Use frylight spray oil.
Fry some onion and garlic and a chilli
Add a little cayene pepper and a good bit of paprika and fry them off briefly
Add turkey mince - nice and low fat
When browned ad a tin of chopped tomatoes and a tin of beans (texture and sweetness)
Red pepper
Some mushrooms
Some kidney beans
some jamaican style hot pepper sauce to taste - a bit sweeter than tobasco etc.
Salt/pepper
Reduce down to a thick sauce consistancy - no flour needed as the bean juice is thick enough.
Serve on rice - mix it up and wrap in warm tortillas - and east teh rest form teh plate!
Of course you can use brown rice and wholemeal wraps - i am not that healthy!

Anything and everything. Not a fussy eater and I will eat whatever is put in front of me ;D Draw the line at JAs and spinach though :-X. Yuk!
You say that kt but I bet you have never had spinach cooked with a large dob of butter and garlic in a hot frying pan for 3 - 4 minutes! Delish!
Old Bird
Just to make sure I like it. Before I try to cook it when are you making it next and I will pop round for a bite?
Sounds delightful, and definitely up my street. Will attempt it at the next opportunity !

I use spinach in an Italian dish where I layer home made pasta sheets with layers of spinach, cheese sauce, rich tomato sauce and finish with cheese sauce sprinkled with grated cheese - like a Lasagne really without the meat. Always gets eaten.
