if anyone's going to a open garden at the weekend, I can strongly recommend Briarfield, The Rake, in Burton in Cheshire (near Ness Gardens). It's sensational. I offered to edge the borders......before I knew it was 3 acres :o. Open 2-5 pm on Sunday 20th, £3 to charity
