Its a bit like british broom but talks spanish ;D

I believe it is longer lived than the british broom. It has yellow flowers the same shape as the broom we are all used to. I am sure if you google you will find it. The couple I have are about six feet tall. They do get the frost a bit on the growing tips, but mine are in a frost hollow. I just shear the untidy bits off and it helps to bush it out.

If it's that size I'd like some, if you have any left. I hsve a little (don't know what sort) in my front hedge; most of it has now died, and I don't expect the last bit to be with us much longer. It certainly brightened the place up when it was in bloom.

The seeds arrived today, thanks. When you say soak them, I assume you mean immerse them for a day. I'm tempted to chit them instead.

Yes chitting would work.
