Title: Shed finally 7 by 4
Post by: caseylee on April 14, 2008, 00:21:17
I have finally managed to get a shed off freecycle, my husband went to see it tonight but is usless in describing it to me.  The size is 7 by 4, has anyone got one this size and could offer me a bit more into.  Its a triangle type roof ( if you know what I mean) is it big enough to store things in, like a few tools and a wheel barrow up on its side, any ideas would be welcomed

The maximum size shed we're allowed is 6 x 4 and I've just put one on my plot - it's an apex roof, same as yours.  It's plenty big enough.  I'm planning on building a narrow bench down the long window side for chitting potatoes, holding seedlings before putting in the cold frame and of course most importantly, the primus for tea breaks!  Then a few shelves on the back end for bits and bobs, tool clips along the other long side and coat hooks on the door.  Leaves room for a couple of stacking chairs or stools and you could get a wheelbarrow in too if you wanted.

A double bed is 6ft 6ins by 4ft 6ins.

So the inside of your shed will be about that size.

The triangle roof shape is like a house roof shape.

Any help?
