So, frog taddies or newt taddies?

Most of them have external gills, which makes them newts. Sone have internal gills, so they'd be frog or toad.

I'd say newts. Where you took the picture?

Cool if they are newts!  They are in my pond in the back garden.  We had several newts arrive last year, complete suprise no idea where they came from but sitting there one summers evening we spotted them swimming around on the bottom of the pond.  We have goldfish in the pond but because there are several layers, the taddies are currently out of fishes reach.  Mark would like to catch them and put them in a tank but I said leave well alone.  I shall have to keep an extra special eye on them.
