Title: In flower today
Post by: Georgie on April 12, 2008, 19:57:52
Here are a few snaps of things currently flowering in my garden.  I would have taken more but the camera decided to play up.   ::)  G x

Lovely photos Georgie, the strawberry plants look like you have painted them, just so perfect!! Love the primulas. My garden lacks colour at this time of the year so I intend working on that (with a little expert help from my friends :))

Great pics Georgie, love the pineapple sage. Is your garden quite sheltered?

Thanks folks.

Emaggie, the garden is fairly sheltered but I kept the Pineapple Sage in the mini greenhouse over winter and I'm starting to harden it off now.  However the original plant was kept outside in a pot under a bell cloche.  It died down completely and I feared I'd lost it but yesterday I noticed a new shoot at the base.  The plant comes very easily from cuttings rooted in water.  If you'd like I'm happy to do one for you.

Oh that's great, Manics.   ;D

Maggie, I've taken your cutting today so it should be well-rooted and ready to post in about a week.   :)
