how i can get a copy of my essay off my laptop to my pc to be able to email it to a friend, i have loaned my memory stick out, there is no floppy disc drive on my laptop and it is not connected to the internet
If you have an ethernet cable you can connect the two.
Might have to make a network first though to read the laptops harddrive.

Have to disconnect from the internet for a while, get the document across to the PC. THen reconnect the cable back for the internet to email it.
If you have blue tooth on your laptop, and have a blue tooth dongle to put in a USB on the PC you could do it that way too.

If you have a camera or MP3 player plug it into your laptop and put the essay onto the memory it has, i've done it loads of times with no problems :)
ooh i tried it with the mp3 player and couldnt do it not tried the camera though
Should work with most mp3 players as they are basically memory sticks with a music player attached (make sure it is not full of music). They are both solid state memory. Camera memory cards are the same. If all else fails, phone your mate and read it out.
