Title: Turnip Rooted Chervil

I just bought some of these seeds and it says to plant in October!!

Does anyone have any experience of growing it?

needs 10 weeks at 4oC to germinate, and roots need to be stored for several weeks for the proper flavour to develop  - chestnut!

I got them from the Thomas Etty site Rhubarb Thrasher, It'll give me something to do in October.

you could try popping them in the fridge for a bit and sowing them early I suppose

that website has lots of interesting stuff ( they've even got graphs) on unusual veg - yacon, oca etc
