I pricked out lots of my bedding plants last weekend. The seeds were sown in a heated propagator and pricked out into 5X8 individual seed trays. Every one of my French Marigolds are fine, as are my Geraniums and Antirrhinums, but I had a whole tray of Mimulus and every one of them are gone, as are my Nemesia.
How can I avoid this?

we had this with some nemesia, I'd dampened them to much..next lot are going to be kept drier :)
Try giving them a squirt of Murphy's copper fungicide when you sow seeds.
I found this stops damping off and it wasn't neccessary to water them as well if the compost is damp to start with.
Damping off no more if you sprinkle cinnamon over the soil surface when you sow. For double protection spray with chamomile tea- Both are natural fungisides. :)
Thank you for your suggestions, I will give it a go.

Previously I had trouble with damping off. Now don't because of increasing the warmth, increasing the air circulation, uncovering as soon as things germinate, and watering with camomile tea diluted from a used tea bag.
