As lots of you know i want to change to working in a and e, well this morning the senior matron from there rang me this morning and asked me to come for an interview on wednesday at 2.30
oohh i hate interviews, its even worse cos i want this job so badly  :o

Good luck for tomorrow.  To help with your nerves think of all the reasons you are the person for the job and treat it like a conversation, you'll be more relaxed and natural and remember Matron phoned you - so she won't need much convincing - go girl ;D

thank you everyone, im getting very nervous now, the clothes are ready, the porfolio is ready, and i now have a stinking cold, may get the sympathy vote.
im on a long day tomorrow so may not get on til thurs am to let you know how it goes but will tell you as soon as i can

Ok folks update time, they hadnt been informed i had arrived so we all sat in different rooms for 20 minutes prior to realising this. interview went really well and as soon as i got back to the ward they rang the matron for a verbal reference, and provided that my 2nd reference is ok tomorrow (no doubts about that one) and my occupational health form is ok

THE JOB IS MINE!!!!!!!!!!!  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D

Pleased to hear your good news debs.  I remember interviews being one of the most horrid hurdles to get through to get the job you really wanted.

thank you every body im just waiting for my occupational health check to be cleared then i will get a starting date. Grawrc, i have been working in a and e for quite a few shifts now over the last 5 weeks so ive got some experience and not going in blind, cant wait now  ;D
