At the end of Summer 2 years ago i bought a sad little stick in soil for £1.89 from Morrisons, labelled 'Weeping Willow'. It's been growing away at the end of me lottie. Right in the middle of what used to be the entire sites expired-greenhouse/burnt plastic dump.
Now about a metre and a half tall,  i wondered if there was anything i could do for it to make its stay any more comfortable.
Also, pruning - i've no experience, when should i do it? How much and is it worth trying to root the prunings? What would you say?

If it's a true weeping willow they grow humungously big so if it's not in a place where you want a 50 foot tree now is probably a good time to move it!  Pruning them spoils the shape so best not.  Willow roots really easily from cuttings/prunings.
