Asbean - yes!

My only caveat is that the Turnips that I keep in the freezer for such needs were fine in taste but a bit on the wobbly side for texture. Trouble is, so few places stock Turnips.

so lovely to see pot cooked poultry, it's the best way and of course you get all that stock or gravy as well and all in just one pot  ;D

SOMEtimes!! And not a thing you keep in with the Onions, Carrots etc. And Tesco is 4 miles.

Anyway - here's the sign of a good stew - & a happy chicken. Pity there's no more left!!
