Title: Curly Parsely
Post by: Ant on March 27, 2008, 16:13:50
We have just bought some curly parsley as a pot plant from the garden centre. I am planning to transplant this into a small raised bed in the garden.

It looks like there a number of small plants within the pot, should I separate the plants and what distance apart should they be planted? Or, should I just plant it in one bunch as it is in the pot?

I'd separate them.  I'm not that certain about spacing as I grow my herbs in pots but I'd say about 30cm apart.  But I wouldn't plant them out until late May unless you have a cold frame.

I grow mine about 30 cm apart - they seem to overwinter fine - I just leave them out in the garden, but you might like to harden yours off if they've been raised in a nursery under cover.
