Just thought you'd like to see that the Pulmonaria you sent me has survived the winter and is now in flower. ;D G x

lovely plant :)
Yes it is. The flowers start out that deep pink then turn deep lilac as they age. There are 3 other flower stalks developing. ;D

i like the 'splashes' on the leaves, as well..but I love the colours of the flower :)
Lish kindly sent me 3 plants last year, I mailed her yesterday to say that 2 out of the 3 are in flower, Love it, especially the leaves.

You can see why their common name is Soldiers&Sailors after the colour of their coats?..I've great carpets of them now, so much prefer the variegated leaf to the plain one. Pleased that a couple of the plants survived Lorna - they'll start spreading this year. Sadly Rosebud's didn't survive the journey, but hey ho! will be sending some more to her in a while :)
Lovely Georgie. I have just acquired a cerise pink one from a garden I tend, and in another garden I visit they have a navy blue one so of course I shall be keeping my eyes peeled for seedlings. ::)
