I am now getting between 15 16 eggs a day with 22 girls,and roadrunner is laying every other day with her blue egg at least i know when she lays her egg as differant colour to others ;D, what about eveyone else,how many are your girls producing now

From my 12 hens, eggs have dropped from 10-11 daily to about 8. This is due to the recent turmoil of cold weather. The warmer the weather, the more eggs produced.
Before Easter we were getting 2 or 3 a day from 4 hens - when the weather got colder, we've started getting 4 a day!! :o My chickens never do as they should!
From 11 hens8 eggs, some hens are a year old, and the others two to 3 years. We have had eggs all winter, usually 6 a day.
From 3 Appleyard ducks 3 eggs a day, so long as we look hard as they bury them when they leave the nest dont they. They stopped laying late autumn.
From 14 girls I got a max of 9 for one day last week - most had a big moult end of last year and took a big holiday!
The up and down nature of the weather has not helped them get into a steady pattern yet.
Still, I operate on the theory that each hen has a fixed number of eggs in her and they will all come out eventually :)
I'm getting 3 eggs a day from 3 hens.... they just keep chucking them out despite the weather!

We have 7 hens all different breeds, 4 are laying at the moment and we are getting 3 to 4 eggs a day.
Can't wait til we get a full house!

Girls realy excelled themselves yesterday i got 21 eggs :) :)but only 14 today , maybe they didnt like wind as was very windy :D

I am now getting 11 daily from 6 White Leghorns and 6 Black Rocks. My Black Rocks are almost 1 yr old now. You should be getting 4-5 daily from your 6 as they are supposed to lay for 5 years or more.
My egg production dropped last month to 6-7 daily. I cleaned out the hen house, sprayed the walls and corners etc with Jayes fluid. I also wormed the hens. I took a black rock hen to the vet. He charged me £7 for the visit which included worming medicine. Egg production shot back up within 48 hours of being wormed.
This is the first time I had wormed hens, the vet recommended this every 5-6 months.
None!!...I have just finished with my girls :'(
Now I'm going to do repaires etc. for the shed and pen...burn all old nestboxes and perches and scrub all surfaces...
And when my friend is ready with her broody and eggs...I will get them into my care and start again with new chicks... ;D
From eleven hens I am getting between 1 and 3 a day at the moment. One hen is almost a year old but the rest are a lot older. I suppose I look on them as pets really. I even kept the four cockerels that were born last year so together with their Dad, I have 5 of them running around. They don't fight but there is a pecking order. They all do their jobs of weeding and fertilising the vegetable runs and they look pretty. eggs are just a bonus but come the summer I know I will get plenty. ;D ;D
I get up to nine each day as one of my chickens is a Barnvelder and lays once every three days normaly! :D ;D
mine have dropped off too only getting 11-12 sometimes as low as 8 a day from 22 birds
Now getting as low as 7 daily from 12 birds since the snow started.
getting 20 a day most days now and road runner the cream legbar laid 3 days in a row till today

My Hamburgh has laid daily until last Thursday and no more eggs since ..is this due to colder weather?
My silver sussex laid one perfect egg 3 weeks ago..now she occasinaollly goes into nest to sit and think but no eggs.
Will she ever lay?
