Title: Growing Different Cucumbers Together?
Post by: jo9919 on March 24, 2008, 20:44:23
I'm totally confused about cucumbers, which are all female and which are not, which can be grown together, and which can't.

I am growing Burpless and Lemon Crystal. Can anyone tell me if I will need to polinate either of these, or if either of these are all female, and can I keep both of them in the greenhouse together?

Thanks,
Jo.

burpless don't need pollinating, they're an outdoor one but we grow them inside, means we don't have to take the flowers off and we find them very reliable under cover  :)

I am growing 2x Carmen F1 and 2x Ziena F1 for the first time this year. They will both be in the same greenhouse. I am also trying Marketmore outside.   Time will tell....

OK, so I can grow both of these in the greenhouse together, and neither will need polinating?

Am I right?

Do I have to remove any of the flowers?

Jo.
