Title: Red Pontiac Spuds

Could have fainted when I bought my seed potatoes and they had a name!

Normally Its red or white! and it's too expensive to get them posted here!

Here's the question! Anyone grown wait for it! ..........

Red Pontiac's? I hope they are nice cos we've planted half a sack, and the rest are going in tomorrow!

Never grown them meself, but spud guru Alan Romans says:
  " Early Maincrop from USA - round - white flesh - high dry matter content - good flavour - good for chips - 8/9 for yield - 4/9 blight resistance"
