Title: Naked Cucumbers

Hah! That got your attention!

In our local Co op yesterday I noticed a sign explaining that they now sell their cukes with no plastic bits on. It has driven me demented for years that the supermarkets have a little "condom" type thing around them, then a plastic wrapper over that, so well done them!

;)

You may want to check something. Cucumber that isn't shrink wrapped often has a wax coating instead to keep it fresh.

I do hope not. I buy the reduces ones for my guinea pigs & I will have to start peeling them if that's the case. I will call there help line to find out.
