We've just got a V+ upgrade on a special offer, and I get to 'tape' all the good gardening programmes now...we could never get our DVD recorder to work!

I know I'm not stupid, but that machine has defeated me. I read the instruction book, and the one for the tv, it recorded for about a week, then stopped. But wouldn't play prerecorded DVD's! Sorted that out, then it wouldn't record again! We have ended up just using it to play prerecorded stuff, so we needen't have paid extra to get a recording one really. The V+ box has stopped all the arguments though, as it can record 2 programmes while you watch another. Joy! ;D
