Title: Net curtains
Post by: Mrs Ava on July 16, 2004, 23:12:50
I have been given lots and lots of old net curtains to use as I see fit at the lottie.  I have used some to keep the pesky birds off my fruit - very successful, but was wondering, can I use in a similar way to fleece?  It isn't that very holey net curtain, more a very fine mesh type.  Seems a shame not to use it, and with winter coming  :o I wondered if it would be handy for keeping the worst of the weather of things like lettuce?

Doubt it, EJ. Even though it may be very fine it will still allow a lot more air through than fleece- or at least the fleece we get over here.

Well, it will be handy to keep the birds of my fruit, and my shed windows are sooooo pretty now!  ;D
