Title: Hello
Post by: Pookledo on March 18, 2008, 07:38:58
I've been pointed here by someone from a different list. (Maybe i was boring them all with my gardening talk! ;D )

I haven't got an allotment but I've just claimed a section of the garden for myself.

I grew a few vegetables 20 years ago with the help of my grandparents, but now I'm going it alone.

I'm sure i can get some good advice here. :)

Hi, *waves*

Have you decided what to grow?

So far I have tumbling tom tomatoes, sage, sunflowers, chives, carrots, a raspberry cane and cut and come again lettuce.

I've got some rocket, rosemary, gypsophilia, thai basil, wild strawberries, beetroot and dwarf beans to go still.

I'm not very good at remembering varieties. I think I'll have to become better at doing that by the look of some of the message boards!

Thankyou! I hope it all goes well. I'm trying to garden to destress too. It seems to be working so far :)
