Title: Something I found in a catalogue
Post by: Moggle on July 16, 2004, 14:14:11
I wonder if strawberries would grow OK in one of these?

And while I think about it, if I put a single runner in to a small-ish round pot, and expected to get fruit from it, what would be the most sensible sized pot?

I have my one-year-old strawbs in 4in pots. Occassionally they have dried out a little, but seem fine. my two-year-old plants are in 8in pots which seem to work well.

10 litres? That's 1/3 grow bag. That's about 3 eight inch pots?
Too many holes, I reckon! = Tim
