It looks more like a blackcurrant, unless you've got a thornless gooseberry.  ;D

the one on the left looks like my blackcurrant I bought from poundstretcher.
So I think it could be a blackcurrant.
One on the right looks like raspberry

at a guess anyway :D

well funnily enough dtw none of all the plants had thorns which i thought really bizarre and i remember posting about at the time i thought that would be the easy way of telling. the raspberry i am pretty certain is just that. Jeannine what would the leaf smell of if i crushed it and what plant would it tell me it was?

hi debster the fruit bushes look like rasbberrys and gosseberrys because you can get thornless ones.Plant them in the ground and wait for them to fruit then put lables on them as i grow fruit on the allotment.

Like many have suggested before me, I think the one on the left is a blackcurrant and the one on the right a raspberry.

Looks like a currant on the left and a thornless raspberry. You won't know if the currant is black, red or white until it fruits. My Glen Moy Raspberry is thornless.

Don't do a lot of soft fruit, but I do a lot of ornamental ribes and that leaf is deffo ribes, so a current of sorts.

Agree with ace that it looks like a Ribes leaf, trouble is gooseberry is a ribes species as well (R. uva-crispa, which I think means curly grape???)

If it's "careless" you have, then it should have thorns.
