Ok, I've just gone onto metcheck to see whether or not I can get some spuds in next weekend and have just discovered that Barry has a forecast for heavy snow on Easter Sunday between the hours of 3am and 6am! So I'm guessing that's a no to the spuds then! :o
Crikey Posie, Looks like your spuds will have to wait.
Oh goodie, i love the snow ;D
It looks lovely when falling and new, but it isnt so nice when it is grey (and yellow!). Then all it means is wet feet!!!
cj :)
Humph. >:( I'm sulking now, I had such high hopes for that weekend!
I would not worry too much they have not got the forecast right for today let along next sunday. According to todays weather forecast it is supposed to be raining cats and dogs but since about 11.00 the morning we got warm sunshine and blue skies
Hmmm, not sure how reliable the site is to be honest....now forecast for nothing between 3 and 6 am and light snow a bit later on. Oh well, fingers crossed.
I find the Countryfile farmers forecast is probably the best , mild, fine and some sun in the midlands monday and tuesday with night frosts. Getting wet and (northerly) winds towards the end of the week.
I did see snow forecast, but I thought it was more the north and Scotland. It never lasts that long here though........................famous last words ::)
Just checked my area, heavy snow easter sunday too :-\
Same here for west London and a bit more for the following Tuesday. Will I ever by able to sow my carrots??
just off to check my area hope we get snow ;D
said snow in north wales too.
however, can't have a look as site is down (said would be up by time we've had a cuppa - still got another hour to go).
