brilliant picture, it always amazes me how children automatically know about keeping their mouths closed while swimming  ;D

cheers manics.....................pity his mum cant keep hers closed a little.........lol..........it frighened me to death the first time he plunged underwater..........but apparently babies have a gut reaction that they can lose if they dont practice! in this he was about two feet underwater.........

That is a fantastic photo. At age of 72 my 12 year old Grandson Joshua tried to teach me to swim (have always wanted to) I laughed so much he got cross and just gave up ;D

What a great pix! So wonderful when children learn to swim early and have a lifetime to enjoy the water sports.

Apparently in Germany they throw babies into pools from a very early age so they learn not to fear water and swim naturally.

This does prove we can swim from year dot, not so in my case. I swim like a brick ;D ;D ;D

Fab picture.  Mr grandad did that to me when I was very wee much to my parents terror.  I lived to tell the tale and love to be in the water.  If that were my pic, I would have that poster size, I love it!

lol........funny you should say that ej.............lol
thats just what we did! pride of place in the living room
i must stress that it wasnt me who took the photo..........cory goes to a group who encorage babies to learn water skills......not cheap............but i think worth it!
we did attend another photo shoot the other week.this one was free to those who took part in the first one....mainly to train new underwater photographers for the group...........
wouldnt you know it..the resulting free photos were even better than the first set!!!

many thanks to all for your nice comments!

I love that pic MM~it reminds me of when I first took my eldest swimming in 1986, at around four months old (him not me...lol)

By the age of four he had his first swimming certificate for his 10 metres and by the age of 14 he was swimming for Northern Counties, winnimg medals and training with the England team for water polo, not something I ever envisaged of course, as it was all just for fun, but he took to it like a duck to water so to speak....so give Cory a few years  ;)

I love his little swimming suit and I love that you care enough to spend so much special time with him to develop him x
