Loads of seedlings to prick out and pot on! I,m not tall but bending over the G/H bench was hurting my back then I noticed my coverless mini greenhouse
at three levels it was just the right height so I plonked the tray on top and now am a happy pricker outer ::)

Yeah I have that problem, nothing is the right height! But a little adapting works wonders for the aches :D
The mini greenhouse is certainly paying for itself ;)
I already have three of my mini greenhouse inmy main greenhouse full of seedlings at the moment, so I have to kneel down in there and it kills my back aswell, def need a bigger greenhouse with a potting table lol
Here's an ergonomics tip to help prevent back fatigue from standing in one spot too long:
Prop one of your feet in front of you on a couple bricks or sturdy box. That helps restore the curve in the small of the back. Change feet periodically. They say that taverns have a bar for the foot to rest on so that folks will stand up and drink longer. It does work whether you're drinking or not!
thanks I,ll try that1 I get so engrossed with pricking out seedlings I don,t notice the back till I try to move doing it at chest height instead of waist height has helped a lot

Yes, even the slightest bent-over posture pulls on the lower back eventually. Smart of you to raise the work table height.
Hi Marg, just a nosy question really. Did you remove your pic or is it to do with photobucket. Some of mine on another forum have done a vanishing act all on their own :-\
just saw this !1 discovered how to sort my photobucket album out and the picies disapeared including my blog ones, put most of them back, some folk just have to learn the hard way ;D
