Title: Cow Manure Pellets???
Post by: Bryan on March 10, 2008, 14:35:38
Hi all, was just wondering if anybody has heard of, and where to get, pelleted cow manure. We had an elderly member of our allotment society come into the trading shed yesterday, to pick up his seed potatoes, and he was telling us about these cow manure pellets, which he got from a supplier, but he could not remember their name, so no good googling. I have tried searching but thought someone on here may know.
Many thanks in advance for any help to this enquiry, hope all have a successful year on your plots, or in your back gardens, Bryan.

We use horse muck here, there's plenty available free from local stables.
Found these though they do look expensive to me:

Added: you sure he wasn't talking about chicken manure pellets? These are widely available.

Nah, we thought he was pulling our legs, but i have heard of them before like others on our allotments.
He did say that they were very expensive, and i will wait till i see him again to ask him where he got them from.
I know about the chicken manure pellets, i use them already.

I am sure at b&coo (Norfolk B&Q) I saw bags of composted cow poo and pelleted cow poo. Check out www.diy.com
