Has anyone tried them? Anyone know where I can get some. T&M webpage was recommended but doesn't seem to have them showing.

This is the T&M page.
http://seeds.thompson-morgan.com/uk/en/product/833/2

Alternately you can support this site by buying them from Amazon.
Click on the shop button above or on this link http://www.allotments4all.co.uk/smf/index.php?page=10 then search for ustie in the home & garden section.

Either way they are £1.69 for 400 T&M brand seeds.

I tried them last year, but did not have a very successful crop and what i got was nothing worth writing home about, no taste at all.  However, last year was not good for my runners either, so I will try again for the last time this year.

This cropped up on Gardeners Question Time, and Bob FlowerDew reckoned as far as I remember that you can grow them in the UK for interest, but we don't have the right weather conditions to get more than a token crop.
