Yeh! Where is that Oz?  Seem to remember it is his fault.  We had all that hot dry weather and then he started his "rain dance"!  Come on Oz bring back the sun, we have had enough rain now!  ;D busy_lizzie

What's all this about rain??

We had a few days at the end of April, the same at the end of May & a bit in early July.  The ground is parched. PLEASE may it rain for a week, at least. After your holidays, of course! = Tim

it's been drizzling here - you know that fine misty rain that sticks to everything, but doesn't seem to do the garden any good.

I really miss the sun.

Mimi,  All the best for your daughters wedding day.  I have a vested interest for the day to be fine here too, as it is my 60th birthday.  :o We are having a Picnic in the place where I was born, Corbridge in Northumberland.  We'll have a stroll, a picnic and I am going to plant a tree. We are going to be Flower Children, wear flowers in our hair, dance round trees, and do some Tai Chi.  May as well take advantage of my sixtieth year by starting as I mean to go one -  as an eccentric!  ::) busy_lizzie

It's the Ingatestone Horticultural society show tomorrow so, of course, we have (http://www.meto.gov.uk/images/w29x15.gif)

The 'Essex Sunshine Coast' - :'(

Jeremy

P.S. -there's some hope http://www.meto.gov.uk/weather/europe/uk/outlook/index.html (http://www.meto.gov.uk/weather/europe/uk/outlook/index.html), it looks as though you're 'somewhere special' rather than 'most parts' Tim.
