Hello there all,
Hope you are all doing well......I may have missed the boat as I so often do but is it too late to start early potatoes in a bucket in the green house or am i too late? If I can whats the best variety to get and how do I do it?

Hi David,

It depends where you are really, if your up north put some in buckets. If not the conditions will be ok hopefully very soon.

See what the others say ;)

I've got some of our own from last year growing in buckets and some earlies in under fleece, pentland javelin  ;D

Hi David its never too late. But my advice is always the same.
Once they are growing you should try to keep them outside as much as possible otherwise you can get a lot of top and not a lot underneath. It gets far too hot in a greenhouse for them and mine have already been well over 30 degrees Centigrade on a lot of days this year. Its a pain moving them back in on cold nights/ days but its for the best.
