Try this recipe for Nigells's breakfast bars.  Everyone I have made them for thinks they are delicious and they are incredibly easy :)

1x397g can condensed milk
250g rolled oats
75g shredded coconut
100g dried cranberries
125g mixed seeds [i used a ready mixed bag of pumpkin, sesame and sunflower]
125g natural unsalted peanuts

preheat oven to 130C/gas mark 1/2 [i used the simmering oven of the aga]
warm the condensed milk in a large pan
meanwhile mix all the other ingredients together and then add the warmed condensed milk and use spatula to evenly distribute
spread the mixture into tin and press down to even the surface
bake for 1 hour, remove and after 15 mins cut into squares [makes about 16 chunky ones]
allow to cool completely
they will store well.
