best stuff to get rid of any bugs and nasties, bleach or jeyes fluid with a scrubbing brush and hot water?
cheers
Jeyes! It does exactly what it says on the tin. Bleach seems a bit too much for me.
To get rid the really nasty nasties, I find a woman is the most effective.
Pesky Wabbit, go stand in the corner and wait for the dogs..... :-[
Jeyes is an OK for pots. First wash and rinse in water, then a dunk in a Jeyes solution. Let them air dry.
Better yet. Make paper pots!
Oh dont be daft kenkew, i mean big pots!!! want some to dot around the garden with tomato plants in, paper pots are not man enough!!! lol, anyway i put all my small pots in the dishwasher!!! lazy or what ;D ;D ;D ;D
Oooohhh dishwasher I hadn't thought of that :D
Brings them up like new!! lol.
I confess I am a slob and do not wash my pots at all...... :-[
I rinse mine out withe water sorry lazy two
I prefer bleach I don't like the oily film jeyes leaves on the surface.
But that is only a personal fad I would use either before I would use none.
I also like to get them done fairly early in the season so the bleach/jeyes gets to work prior to using the pots/trays.
I find it a good January job.
I use a mixture of washing up liquid and vinegar
miltons for me ,although the dishwasher sounds very tempting,in fact Iam going to do it.

Many an hour hunched over a sink with dettol and washing up liquid this winter...I am of an age that I still add Dettol to a bath.. Don't tell anyone...
Kills all sorts!
I'm so old I'd forgotten Dettol baths :)
