The moto is;

Charge accordingly-ie whatever you can ask for them and still make a profit.

Personally I wouldn`t touch a brassica with a barge pole unless I was sure it was grown in sterile compost-too great a risk of importing club root

I'll have to save up for a few weeks then :'( Just received notice of my increased pension for 2008............44pence per week so by my reckoning I will have to save up for 5weeks to get 4 plants

Thanks Mr Brown & co  ::)

I think they are usually around £1.99 or £2.50 for 6. Delfland organic do 5 plants for £1.50 - but then they have a hefty mail order charge.

Our farm shop down the road sell excess plants for about £1.20 for half a dozen.
However, apart from Delfland, I find that GC and the farm shop don't sell named varieties, and as I like to know what I am growing I grow from seed.
