Can't recall if I've asked before (senior moment) but can anyone advise on the correct way to prune an overgrown outside olive tree in the UK?

more to the point can cuttings be taken so that they may be swapped lol ;D :-*

Mine's only a tiny thing in a pot on the patio! It seems to have survived though!
