Post by: caseylee on February 22, 2008, 13:59:04
Hello there

Got mine from Woolies last year.

I kept one in isolation (in a window at work) and that's the one that I've collected seed from.

And they're on sale right now - mine was reduced to £1.75!

If you look after them, they'll overwinter indoors too.

Ren1, I already have Tropical Heat...phew! :P :-[ Nasty little b###ers they are!

Riffster, got it.

OK, that's a few more sent (will be tomorrow's post) but I've had to be a bit skingy...yesterday I was sending 2 chillies but I don't have enough left to keep that up.

I would also like some too please, whatever you can spare.  I'm trying different hot chillies for my son who loves them. I have new packets of seeds of cabbage, carrots, mint and something else that another kind swopper sent to me if you would like any of those. I don't have an allotment and therefore can't use them.

Many thanks RobinOfTheHood,

I got the seeds yesterday - I'm halfing them and sending some on.

Made a slight error,   popped half the skin of the dry chilli in my mouth without the mandatory cube of cheese.

It was only a little bit after all. - Still won't forget the cheese next time. - phew

Thx.  Riff...

I don't come in the swap shop very often, it looks like some frantic swapping has been going on.
If anybody else wants some bolivian rainbow, pm me your address.

I must sow some myself, as I have been concentrating on other chillies and forgot to plant them. ::)

Lots of green ones in my seed tray.

Hope they haven't mutated in transit!    :-[

They do seem to need warmth and a lot of light to grow. Mine were sown early March and are about 4" high now.
