:) :) At last we have managed to get on the lottie....
The new gate was fixed in place on Wednesday, so with Thursday to ourselves we hit the lottie with a vengence >:(
Having set a target of doing an hours worth of clearing the dreaded brambles we started. And ended up having cleared the lot.....in only a couple or three hours. :D
The best part of the day was enjoying a great cup of Earl Grey in our lottie ;D
With both of us covered in scratches and grazes we felt a sense of fulfilment.
Saturday came around and we were at it again. A couple of hours before the girls got up (its a god send with the lottie being on our doorstep, literally).
This time our first job was to LIGHT THE FIRE!!!!!!
This consisted of a 7foot high X 6foot wide bonfire from the brambles and other stuff found lurking in the lottie. :o :o
After two failed attempts to light it, third time lucky, it went......and boy did it go. We thought the brambles would have been too green to burn but with the amount of dry tinder we had found it went like a lion.....ROARING!!!
Anyway must go we've got some bark chips to pick up......
Take care all

Green with envy.....not allowed bonfires on our lotties except for Nov 5th! Watch for a glow in the sky around the northwest of England that night, will have so much stuff stacked up by then!!
