Title: back at school..yes
Post by: Jeannine on February 20, 2008, 22:11:15
Ist day back in our own school today after the flood rebuild, the kids faces were a picture, they had no idea it would be so nice.

We had TV radio etc  visiting us on and off all day.

I guess I should have warned you but it was on Calender, Look North and radio this evening. I missed the Calender one but I got tears in my eayes listening to the kids on look North.

Aw how wonderful J, its always the kids that do it, they only know 'honesty speak'.

I used to get Look North and Calendar when I lived in your neck of the woods. Very happy for all of you the school is so much nicer now :D

I know this isn't the right place but I thought as there are teachers in this thread, it would save me starting another.  For those of you who work in Primary School (which I know a couple of you do) I wasn't sure if you knew or was interested in the Natioanl Sing Up Competition which is taking place at the moment.  Seems like something the children would enjoy and have fun with (as well as the teachers, lol)

Thanks for that - I shall follow it up.  Looks good and I like using singing in class - I have noticed how easy it is to learn when singing.  It is far easier to learn the lyrics of a song by heart than it is a page of text.
