Title: Fairytale pumpkin
Post by: laura G on February 18, 2008, 17:54:23
After reading about these on the internet i really fancy growing them. They look brilliant and all the descriptions of taste sound fantastic. Unfortunately after googling a few times i have come up with nowhere in the UK that sells the seeds but have found some on ebay from a US seller.

My question is this.. is there a reason why they are not avaliable to buy here, are they difficult to grow, perhaps they need a longer growing season than we in the UK can give them. :)
Hope someone can help.
Thanks Laura

The reason is like most other squash they are only just really starting to get popular here, so the UK only sells the old favourites, this is changing fast though .
I can let you have a few seeds if you PM me

Oh wow, thank you. That would be fantastic. I will PM you now.
Do you believe it has a good flavour? and did you find it easy to grow.
