Title: Good News at last
Post by: caseylee on February 18, 2008, 10:11:39
I have just been contacted by the council today to advise that the half plot next to mine has become available yiphee.  I only have a half size at the moment and nowI have a full size.  I am so happy.  Now I can put my spare greenhouse down at the allotment.

Go for it girl.   You can never have too much allotment space if you have the time to use it to its full potential. I'd love a second plot but have been told not a chance whilst there are waiting lists.

Well the plot where I am the council says it has clay soile, but the soil is beautiful there.  I know cause i accidently dug in that space and the soil was beautiful.  THe good news is that a girl I met on freecycle has just given up her allotnment and has given me all of her pallets and some that have already been cut in size for raised beds, plus some more tools, so i am so happy.  We are going to put the greenhouse in the middle of the two, and concentrate on one this year, and mabe get  the boys to do me a flower patch on the other one until we get time to dig it.
