Title: Colour of potato sprouts........relevant to anything?
Post by: Deb P on February 17, 2008, 20:25:37
Sorry if this is a very dumb question, but I was musing over my trays of potatoes that are chitting nicely, and noticed that some varieites have purple sprouts, others are green. Does this relate to anything, for example flower colour?

They sound fine to me. Colour is usually down to the variety.
